Building on a report commissioned by Digital Media at the Crossroads, Nordicity Senior Partner Peter Lyman will present at the conference on Saturday, January 27, 2018. His presentation, The Digital Media Universe in Canada: Measuring the Revenues, the Audiences, and the Future Prospects, will kick off DM@X and set the tone for a day of panel discussions with speakers from across Canada and around the world.
Nordicity’s research focuses on advertising, broadcasting, newspaper publishing, journalism and the music industry in a digital environment. The report includes an analysis of revenues, employment and future trends.
DM@X is organized by representatives of four academic organizations: the Centre for Innovation Law and Policy, Faculty of Law, University of Toronto; the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto; the MBA Program in Arts, Media and Entertainment Management, Schulich School of Business, York University; and, the School of Creative Industries, Faculty of Communication & Design, Ryerson University.
