Julie has an extensive marketing and communications background, with assessment, research, and analysis experience in the screen, publishing, and digital media industries.
A skilled interviewer, writer and client liaison, she has presented at the Digital Media at the Crossroads 2016 Conference, Ontario Creates Research Showcase and Ontario Creates Digital Dialogues, TIFFNexus Women in Film, Games and New Media conference and WIFT-T’s Executive Management Program.
Prior to joining Nordicity, Julie worked in the marketing divisions of international publishing houses Penguin, Random House and HarperCollins UK. She has advised entrepreneurial media companies on business planning and growth strategies, partnerships and promotions.
